BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
As a child, I was homeschooled by my mother. My parents were agricultural missionaries in India. In fact, my mother was born in India since her parents were also missionairies.However, she did not enjoy the common (British) practice of going to boarding school and chose to homeschool me and my siblings. In fourth grade upon our return to the U.S., I went to a K-6 one room school house with my cousins and siblings and about 30 other students. Later I went to a traditional public school where I was a mostly enthusiastic, good student. However, I feel my early educational experiences gave me a good foundation for my later successes. INTERESTS
- Music -singing, writing music and listening to it
- Dramatic arts - acting, creative movement (I have been in six plays)
- Writing - prose and poetry (I have always kept a journal, have participated in many Writing Groups and have facilitated a writing group at my house)
- Reading - all genres, but especially natural history, science fiction, poetry
