Student Appreciation

I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. I decided to come to Maharishi University of Management after I was dissatisfied at my previous University. I chose the Elementary Teacher Education Program because I've always known that I wanted to be a teacher - it's a dharmic.

Yes, it is difficult to be away from my family, but they support me in my growth to enlightenment - being here and being a teacher is just that. New Zealand will always be my true home, but Fairfield is a very comfortable 2nd home. I have a feeling that I will settle here for some time.

My great loves are family, friends, reading and gourmet food. I love the beach, and I love the mountains (why am I in Iowa again?) But most of all I love to teach others.
