I have excellent abilities in becoming friends with the students while maintaining the necessary position of the teacher. My responsibilities include communicating with Facilities Management and Housing to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the dormitory. I uphold University policy on activities that take place in the dorm, and students come first to their Resident Advisor on any issues regarding the University. Being a Resident Advisor has strengthened my skills in communication with many varieties of people. Student Senate – 3 years Student Senate meets 3 times per month to discuss any proposals or issues that concern the student body. We communicate to our constituents each week on the meeting, and sometimes have to organize votes to bring back to the senate. I have enjoyed having the opportunity to act as a voice for my constituents.
